THE PURPOSE OF LIFE

Life’s journey only begins with the discovery of your purpose.
You can only be outstanding when you have an understanding of your purpose. John Foster said “It is a poor and disgraceful thing, not to be able to reply with some degree of certainty, to the simple question, “what will you be? What will you do?””
Most people fail to achieve excellence, not because they are not good enough, but because they are better off somewhere else, a place they are rather meant to be.
Every person is a potential genius, but it takes the right environment and mission to activate the genius inside to be manifested outside.
It is only in the pursuit of your purpose that you can find fulfillment.
Until you have a purpose for sweating, you would always sweat for nothing. John Mason said “You are not truly free until you have been made captive by your mission in life”.
Life’s ultimate purpose is to discover and fulfill your purpose of creation.
We keep wandering without aim and direction when we are ignorant of our purpose.
The knowledge of your purpose saves you the time and stress of rowing your life the wrong direction. This is why you need to constantly study your life compass to show you were your destiny awaits you.
When you don’t know your purpose, you go everywhere, eventually ending nowhere.
Without a direction you cannot make it to your destination.
The knowledge of your purpose gives you mastery over your destiny.
If you are unable to derive joy in what you do, just ask yourself;
Am I where I am meant to be?
Am I doing what I am meant to do?
Am I living a life that is expected of me?

If you have the answers to these questions, and the knowledge of your purpose, then you can certainly figure out how to achieve greatness.

MAMA AFRICA

Africa, the land of greatness;
Africa, the cradle of civilization;
Africa, the continent of beauty and abundance;
Africa, the blessed home of people without a course;

God has blessed Africa, but yet she is scourged, broken, and uncared for by her children.
It is a  pity, that the African man, and the black race have failed so far in establishing our great continent as a symbol of pride, peace and progress.
Darkness looms over the very fabric of our continent, like a vulture hovering around a dying prey.
Corruption has eaten deep into the African society. The rot going deeper and deeper as the clock ticks.
Conscience has become a commodity for sale in exchange for money.
Selfishness and dishonesty has become the dominant trend in the African Society.
Leaders, exploit the masses, the masses in turn exploit each other at every slight opportunity. The disease flows through the top of the society down to the bottom, facilitating the acceptance of corruption and exploitation as a lifestyle instead of a plague.
Prostitution, cyber crimes, fraud, robbery, kidnapping, drug peddling etc  have become appealing to African youths who’s subjection to hardship and injustice have driven into searing their conscience. Instead of rising against the system that has oppressed them, most have chosen to adapt to their predicament in the most negative way thinkable.
Sometimes I wonder why things have fallen apart, at such times I realize that it is high-time we stopped pointing fingers at others, and attributing our problems to external factors when we have done nothing within to re-write our future and transform our society.
We cannot change our history, but we can re-write our future.
Only those who stand and face their battles, reap the reward of victory.
For this generation not to succeed in this quest to rebuild Africa, would mean a failed generation.
Our accomplishments today would be our legacy for tomorrow, our actions today would determine if we would be forgotten tomorrow or remembered in the annals of history, to be remembered for eternity.
No matter how far you go, and how long you’ve been there, as long as you are of African descent, you have an obligation to answer to this call, Africa is your home, even if the world rejects you, Africa would always open her arms to you, so don’t let her die….
Save her now, while you can!!!

WHO IS AN HONORABLE MAN?

A man who can stand before the world and boldly say 1 Samuel 12:3 - ("Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the LORD and his anointed.
Whose ox have I taken?
Whose donkey have I taken?
Whom have I cheated?
Whom have I oppressed?
From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes?
If I have done any of these, I will make it right.")
And if the world can whole-heartedly reply, saying verse 4 - ("You have not cheated or oppressed us, You have not taken anything from anyone's hand.")
And in conclusion he says verse 5 - ("The LORD is witness against you, and also his anointed is witness this day, that you have not found anything in my hand.")
And in conformity the world says "He is witness," .
Then he certainly is a man of Honor. Try and be like him..
Cheers!

BEAUTY & the making of the BEAST!

She makes him wanna make money, he exhausts the
money on her; she gives him pleasure, but takes away his happiness; she makes him wanna love, when he decides to love, she takes her love away; she breaks his delicate heart, replacing it with a cold block of steel. So goes the story of BEAUTY and the making of the BEAST!

PAINS OF LOVE

If i was a fish, i would have sacrificed the ocean. If i was a lion, i would have left meat to become a vegan. If i was the devil himself, i would have given my life to christ. All these i would have done if it will bring her to me. She is close by, but yet her heart is out of my reach. So near, but seems so far. How i wish i could send the wind to bear my message on swift wings. No matter what happens, my heart would always reach out to her, if she would have me, cos she will always be MY JOY & MY PAIN ! (dedicated to an unknown girl)

TRUE LOVE

Love is not just a word.

Love is an act.

You can give without loving, but you cannot love without giving.

The arms of Love is not just for lovers, but for every being of this world.

Without love, the wars will never end, and humanity will never know peace.

Only in the arms of love can we enjoy true peace.

Love is all about giving, caring and sharing.

It does not cost much to have.

You too can love by giving, even if it is a smile, it could pierce the soul, just as the sun pierces the clouds, bringing light and life to our world. If you have not done so yet, please join me, let us rise together in the arms of love, into a new world of our dreams.

I LOVE YOU!

My Beliefs

believe that my environment can only suggest to me,but I am the only
one who can decide for myself what i must do or become.

I believe that a good day is any day i wake above the ground, walk out
the door, and come back at night, having achieved what i set out to
achieve.

I believe that anything worth doing at all is worth doing well,
and anything worth doing well is worth doing best, this is the simple
key to excellence.

I believe that once i'm moving right with God, every stumbling block i
meet will turn out to be a stepping stone into a radiant future.

I believe that i can become whatever i imagine to be, provided i do what
it takes to get there.

These are my believes. Thanks for reading!

LIFE

Life without money, would be hard

Life without friends, would be lonely

Life without love, would be sad

Life without purpose, would be full of sorrow

Life without direction, would be filled with regrets

Life without wisdom, would be full of mistakes

But, Life without charity, would be a life without a legacy

my regret

If i could change, i would
If i could take back the shame, i would
If i could retrace every wrong step i took, i would
If i could stand up and take the blame, i would

I should have, when i could, but though i hadn't when i would have....
I apologise for not doing what i should when i could...
but all i have to say is "i am sorry for all the wrong deeds i have done"

Are we really responsible for who we grow to become?

TRAIN A CHILD IN A WAY HE SHOULD GO,SO THAT WHEN HE GROWS, HE SHALL NOT DEPART FROM IT

This a simple passage in the book of proverbs, if nearly half of our parents yesterday followed this simple instruction, they wouldn't have had to face half of the HBP and heartbreaks they face today.

Nature has provided us with good examples to learn from, certain species of plants can be made to grow into specific patterns by redirecting their growth patterns while still tender shoots, even in some parts of the world primitive people have used this knowledge to shape their skulls, by shaping the heads of their toddlers into specific shapes.

There is hardly anything called choice for children, until the child grows to know what is actually right or wrong. The mind of a child is like a fertile soil where anything planted grows, he grows to be a replica of what is planted in him.

A child who watches sports everyday, reads sports magazine everyday, taught sports everyday would eventually grow to love sports.

A child who is born into a society where everyone is a hostile drug addict, gradually get to soak up the negative influence of his environment and eventually becomes a part of it as an adult.

A child's mind is like a malleable hot metal that can be beaten into any pattern, once it gets cold due to age, there is hardly anything you can do to change him without encountering resistance. You can either gently mould him into what you want him to be today, and watch him grow into it tomorrow, or you can take his little mind for granted today, and get ready to break him tomorrow or get broken trying.

I am not an exception to this rule. Before i was born, my parents bought the complete 15 volumes of Junior world encyclopedia among other book that eventually became my favourites. It was compulsory for me to read a story, daily, from a complete 7 volumes of bed time stories, this did not only put a spark to my imagination, it also taught me values, what was right and what was wrong.
I read books all through my childhood, sometimes i spent my holidays going to a family friend's book store everyday, and my parents gave me their unwavering support through it all. The books i read created in me the desire for history learning new things and different cultures of people around the world. i went on to study History & International Relations, in-line with my passion, and in-line with my parents plan for me.

I was not forced to do what i did, I made my decisions as an adult independent of any person's influence, If you ask me, i could claim that i made my choice for who i am today, i could claim that i independently chose the course of my destiny, but the truth remains that i am just a product of a blue print God implanted in my parents head, from which they drew a plan, and embarked on a continuous engineering project, through encouragement and support they guided me to the path I took, and now, i am the finished product.

You don't need to fight your children tomorrow if you can write their future today.
You don't need to scold your children tomorrow if you can mould them today.
Your children can bring you joy or sadness, happiness or sorrow, pain or pleasure. The choices you make today would tell which of these would be there gift to you tomorrow

AFRICA AS SHE WAS, AS SHE IS, AND AS I DREAM SHE BECOMES

The first civilized man lived here thousands of years ago, and the world's civilization started from his home in the Olduvai Gorge of modern day Tanzania. From here civilization spread to the rest of the world. Africa in later years became known for greatness, technology and literature, even when the rest of the world was in darkness. But today, when i watch the news, the African headlines carry news of poverty, human-trafficking, ethnic-wars, bribery and corruption, hunger, under-development, and the faces of hungry children fill my screen whenever i watch African news, today black faces have become the norm for the portrayal of poverty, disease and hunger, on magazines, newspapers and on TV screens.
As a kid, i was told to pray for the redemption of Africa, just as my aunties and uncles were asked to pray for Africa, even now as an adult, the prayers that have been prayed for generations, even continued today are yet to yield any positive result, i have come to be disillusioned towards this prayers, the answer to these prayers are not in the prayers but rather in the actions of the African people, the mentality of the African people needs to be re-oriented, the era of great Empires, kingdoms, raw power, and Warriors, is over, now we need warriors in a different Battlefield to create kingdoms and Empires of a new era, where equity, growth, advancement, resourcefulness, Philanthropy, selflessness, love, peace, and harmony would be our only weapons of war and expansion. I dream of an Africa where ethnicity would no longer be the base on which the framework of politics would stand, i dream of an Africa where our religion would no longer be a criteria for choosing our social associations, and political inclination, i dream of an Africa where justice, equity and transparency rules, in all spheres of life. I dream of an Africa where bribery & corruption would be history, i dream of an Africa where peace & progress would take over strife & stagnation. I know, i might not be around when my dream for a new Africa would become completely manifested in reality, but i would be a failure if at the end i do not succeed in being a fighting force for this dream, and this failure would extend to every African who reads this and yet ignore to fight for a new African continent.
MAMA AFRICA CALLS, I WILL ANSWER, WILL YOU?

A wild and free spirit!

Be good to all, run wild & free, wade in the rain, have fun in the
sun, share a sunny smile, create good memories, leave behind a legacy,
love your man, love your woman, share the passion that springs from
love. In all that you do, never hesitate to live your life, to the
fullest, cos life is too short to be boring, and shrouded in a cloak of
gloom, which can only be overcome by the piercing glow of a free
spirit

THE BOOK OF LIFE

Life is like a book, at dawn we pick up our pens and start writing in its pages, we write all through the day and drop our pens at dusk when the darkness of the night steals our sight. From then onwards we become memories, remembered or forgotten by men, the content of our book would determine its place, either in the trash can or in the studious hands of men. Please write something worth reading now you've still got time, who knows, perhaps your book could become a #1 BESTSELLER!

DIVERSITY, CURSE OR BLESSING?

It has always been christains versus muslims, or hausas versus igbos, now am surprised to see igbos versus yorubas. We just keep on looking for new ways to fight each other, Any Nigerian who visits Europe, on his return to Nigeria would feel like weeping, we are so backward, undeveloped, a nation of chaos and confusion, instead of working towards changing our status when compared to the world, we seem oblivious of this wide gap between us and the developed world, instead we concentrate on flaunting our ethnic and religious identities when actually thats the only thing we can boast of because our rating as a nation is zero, sometimes i wonder if diversity is a curse or a blessing, but i have accepted that diversity can be either a curse or blessing it all depends on the choice of the people involved, a good example is the USA, History testifies that USA was built by a combination of different races(not even ethnic groups) who offered there various skills to achieve one goal which was to MAKE USA THE GREATEST NATION IN THE WORLD, from what i see now, i believe they succeeded....God has blessed us with diverse skills not to create discord and contempt for each other, but to serve as a multiple advantage to promote the growth of our country, we have been blessed with all it takes to challenge USA, take a look at Nigeria today, if you are genuinely happy for what ethnocentrism and religious fanatism has caused us, then you should be checked for insanity. Ones ethnicity is a factor we cannot create or choose, so why feel superior to others, religion is a personal relationship with God and shouldnt be a basis for our social interaction. Together we can merge our diversified strenghts in unity and decide with one heart to transfer our loyalties from ethnicity and religion to BUILDING THE GREATEST NATION IN AFRICA (onye gbara ulo ya oku ga ehi na ezi- he who burns down his house will sleep outside..... agbakota agbokota nyuo mamiri, ogba ufufu - divided we fall, united we stand). We can break this jinx depriving us of a better life in a prosperous and peaceful nation, we can make the ultimate choice to make our diversity a blessing, breaking down barriers and builiding bridges, transforming stumbling blocks into stepping stones. I am a christain by faith(personal to me), an Igbo and Idoma by birth, but a Nigerian at heart, this is the land of my forefathers, a land where God has planted me for a purpose, a land where my children will grow, a land where my loyalty has and will always lie, i cant make the perilous journey to a GREATER NIGERIA alone, but i got enough space for everone who shares this dream, all you need is to be a Nigerian at heart... If you are ready to embark on this quest just say
YEA!!!
